His Majesty donates supply of dog food to Pathum Thani shelter

His Majesty the King on Tuesday graciously donated a supply of packaged dog food to a stray-dog shelter in Pathum Thani’s Rangsit municipality.

His Majesty had AVM Thawatchai Srikaew represent him to donate the food to the Klong Sib Song Dog Shelter in Nong Sua district.

The donation was made in the name of the Khun Foofoo Foundation.

Pathum Thani Governor Dr Pinij Boonlert, Pathum Thani Red Cross chairwoman Dolwasa Boonerlt, Rangsit municipality mayor Thirawut Klinkusoom and Pathum Thani chief livestock officer Ponsamitthi Klangnapha were present during the ceremony to receive the donation.

The shelter, which was set up by the municipality on May 17, 2010, takes care of some 600 stray and abandoned dogs.
