BRIGHTON’S HORROR START
It took less than a minute for Leicester City to go in front at the King Power Stadium though Japanese international Shinji Okazaki.
Riyad Mahrez’s shot went through a crowd of players before getting to Ryan, who couldn’t keep a hold of the ball allowing Okazaki to tap-in from inside the area.
The second goal didn’t arrive until nine minutes into the second half as Harry Maguire rose highest to power a header in from Mahrez’s corner.
That’s now back-to-back 2-0 defeats for newly-promoted Brighton.
SMITH ON BOURNEMOUTH BENCH
Caltex Socceroos left-back Brad Smith made the bench for AFC Bournemouth for their home clash with Watford.
Smith didn’t get on the pitch as the Hornets scored twice in the second-half to leave the Vitality Stadium with a 2-0 win.
Like Brighton, Bournemouth have yet to register a point from the opening two games.
MOOY IN ACTION
Aaron Mooy’s Huddersfield Town will play their first EPL home game on Sunday night when they host Newcastle United.
The two newly-promoted clubs have enjoyed contrasting starts to life in the top-flight, with Mooy inspiring Huddersfield to a 3-0 win at Crystal Palace last weekend.
Newcastle suffered a 2-0 loss at home to Tottenham Hotspurs.
