Caltex Socceroos attacker Nathan Burns has signed with Japanese club Sanfrecce Hiroshima.

Caltex Socceroo striker Nathan Burns will remain in Japan after signing for Hiroshima Sanfrecce, his new club confirmed today.

NEED TO KNOW

Burns, 29, left Tokyo FC to join Hiroshima after playing 26 league games (and six in the Cup) since signing in 2015 in Tokyo.

He scored three goals during his spell with Tokyo FC, known as the Gas Men.

Burns won the Johnny Warren Medal for best player in the Hyundai A-League in 2015.

The Aussie striker will join his new teammates from July 18.
