Qantas will boost Airbus A380 flights to Hong Kong and Los Angeles in January, giving travellers a better chance of scoring a ride on the Flying Kangaroo’s flagship.
A Qantas spokeswoman confirmed to Australian Business Traveller that the daily Sydney-Hong Kong QF127/128 service will be upgraded to an A380 running every day from Thursday January 2 through to Monday March 3, 2014.
The current schedule sees the A380 operating only on Thursday to Sunday with a Boeing 747 on the remaining three days, although an A380 will take over the Monday flights from November 4.
From March 4, the schedule will revert to an A380 from Thursday to Monday and the Boeing 747 on Tuesday and Wednesday.
